Theres bad reviews here on MECHELS Puff Pastry Squares, WWYD?
I bought a package to use for flaky cheese danishes, and I just read in the below thread that Imas are unhappy with this brand, but Im stuck with it.
Anything I can do to get a better result with MECHELS PUFF PASTRY? Any tricks to make them come out better?

I love Mechel's and my cheese danishes came out perfect! The key is to only defrost them enough so that you can fold them and not to let it sit out for too long. Once it gets to rom temp it can get sticky, but I don't have that problem when the dough is cold.
Hatzlacha!

When were the reviews from?
I remember a while ago it being really impossible to work with and came out horrible. I stopped using it but it's quite possible that that was either a bad run or they changed the recipe.

I had a hard time working with mechels. Not everything though. The ready dough is fine. The sheets and squares were a disaster.

Interesting fact: Mechels switched owners the time of the complaints! (Mechel retired, new owner now).
It might have taken time until things were adjusted. I imagine that at this point the recipes are back to the original ones.

I like Yossi's better. Mechel's tastes fine but more finicky to deal with.
