I find summer so challenging, I sweat so much. Specifically between my legs. I usually wear jockey skimmies biker shorts but in the summer the fabric itself makes it all sweaty. Any lighter recommendations?

In addition, how else do you keep cool and comfortable in summer? I'd love to hear tips.

I like to wear cotton shorts with a slip to prevent clinginess. It's another layer but worth it for me.

But how does that help between legs?
Issue is thigh rubbing

Cotton shorts prevent chafing. Why wouldn't they help with that?

Before I settled on the Jockey skimmies I tried a couple of others and they weren't comfortable, but I guess I should try out other ones because for the summer they are more sweaty then cotton ones.

I wear the Jockey skimmies to prevent chafing, I find they work really well for heat and they're thin, they are the best ones I've ever bought. What don't you like about them?

Can anyone post a link to the skimmies?

I buy the cotton shorts, they are comfortable but they wear out very quickly, the seams that are rubbing end up tearing from the friction and I am constantly buying more. I have tried different brands and it's all the same. I cannot afford this. I would love to try something new that lasts longer.

Get the skinnies but the cooling ones. They are even better.

I really like these. It is another layer but I find the heat to be unbearable without them. I
use these as underwear (except on my period) so there isn’t a double layer to deal with.

I think it's the material that just isn't so cool... I'm not sure what it's made up of, but I belive it has some synthetic fabric in it like spandex etc. But I'm not sure plain cotton will help if it won't be so comfortable even if it's more cool.

For those of you that wear stockings, how do you prevent the chaffing and which ones are comfortable?

I wear the bike shorts under my stockings. Stockings are the worst in the summer heat
