Any leads for a great, normal Morah for 4 year old boys in main Lakewood or Jackson? Desperately searching...

Morah Chumi Ungarischer on east 8th st. is amazing.

Find out about a few good morahs and call every 2-3 weeks. Many get cancelations.

It's late...but summer is when slots open up. I missed "the good morahs" on round 1 right after sukkos, but got in to a great morah in July when someone gave up her slot cuz she got onto CHS. There are so many reasons why people pull out later.
Keep calling but know that a slot will likely open up for your child later in the summer.
Chani Teitelbaum on rt 88 is good and may have an opening.

If you're open to it a few boys school have kindergarten. Might be easier to get in.
(No need to commit to sending to that school)

She is amazing but does an older three group(turning four January-August)

1) im not sure it's actually easier to get in.

2) but even if you can get in (usually because it's a less popular school, you might have big problems trying to get in to the primaries of your choice. The yeshivos will tell you that you have a school already and to just continue into the primary affiliated with the yeshiva kindergarten.

It's just the reality.
Going to a kindergarten just won't make things easier for OP.

Hugs op. I really feel for you. Last year, my son was home the first ten days of school cuz he didn't have a morah. You can call the Ziva kriger foundation. They may have some ideas for you or they may be helping people get their kids into morahs. Good luck!
