How would I be able to join a government lunch program? Do I contact schools? Larger camps? Thanks!

Not sure that's legal.. you'd need to be a proper licensed daycare to get government assistance.

A larger camp might be able to take you on as a subsidiary of their camp. (I used to do this kind of work. We were a large camp and we had smaller camps getting food through us.)

I would imagine it matters when.
The past 3 summers (during Corona) ALL children were eligible for lunch and breakfast. Just some systems required to be registered with a specific school/camp.
Before Corona, it depended on the specific camp/school and if they were income dependent or free for all
This summer it seems like the details are still unclear.
