Is it better to err on the side of too big or too small when ordering a wig (from China)?
In other words, is it easier to make a shaitel bigger or smaller?

Neither. (Though it's easier to take a wig in, it's not comfortable to have nips in the cap. But too small is worse.)

Definitely easier to make it smaller than bigger.

I agree, there's more to work with if it's too big. I have an Ali wig that was a bit big and I don't have any weird nips that the poster above mentioned. It was able to be taken in nicely
