Who maintains your pool? Is it you, a family member, a company or other?
And what does it cost you (approx) wother weekly or monthly?

I maintain it myself. I think it's about $100 a service call if you have someone do it for you.

We pay a company to open and close it.
DH maintains it daily himself.

I don’t live in Lakewood but I do all basic maintenance (opening/ closing/ backwash/ clearing filter/ chemicals) myself.
I have a company that we can when we are stuck or I dont have time.

I am attempting to learn myself but it's super overwhelming, wondering what everyone does!

I do it myself. For closing and leaks or other problems I hire someone.

Dh maintains it daily. It's really not that hard to learn... its a lot of work but the pool is also a lot cleaner than having someone come once a week

We hire someone to open, close, and take care of any repairs as needed. The daily maintenance we do ourselves. We got a good robot vacuum that we use a few times a week and go to a nearby pool store to get the water checked weekly. They tell us exactly what chemicals we need each week. If you have a good robot and can either check the water chemical levels yourself or go to a store to check it for you it's not that hard though it does take time. When you get a robot make sure you get it from a place you can try it out before you buy so you know the model will work well for your pool.

I'm involved in running certain functions in our condominium complex. We use pool docs for maintenance of pool. Hands down they are the best. We used someone else for one season (that someone in management recommended) and were not as happy.
