Am I the only one who really doesnt think the chunky sneakers that are in style are really not very pretty and b'tampt for the girls? For sure the ones with the platform soles, but even the not platform pumas that my daughter tried are so chunky looking - I am feeling unsettled buying them. Even if she is going to have white sneakers, why do they have to be SOO much?

A lot of styles are not batampt.
But your daughter might have to figure it out for herself, your job is just to be a good role model

It just takes getting used to!

I remember when the short sleeve tshirt on top of a shell look had just started. It looked so questionable, legitimizing a short sleeve look. But now, its the very middle age very frum ladies who keep wearing it! Everything is relative.

Of all fashion things, clunky chunky sneakers would be the least of my concerns. Yes, it is a very casual look. But I, personally, wouldn't push on this issue.
