This isn't exactly a shopping question but I didn't know where else to put it!

I want to create a large artwork for my dining room wall. I want it to be Judaic in nature, but not the kotel. I don't know why not, maybe it's just too generic/common/popular or also it feels kind of sad/somber, I want something more positive. So not kever Rachel either, see?

I'm really not sure what I want. I'm very open ended right now and just looking for random inspiration in a Jewish vein until something inspires me. Please bring it on!

Something colorful and abstract that will match the room. Davening, sefarim, clouds, alef bais...look up abstract judaica art.

What kind of colours are in the room? Is it more of a dark, rich look? Maybe little shtetl boys learning in cheder?

I did a quick search, and it was interesting to find a piece of art of the kosel that has more of an upbeat, fresh vibe...

Lots of beautiful art on Etsy I see. Are you an artist? I'm curious what kind of style you use.

Thanks for the replies. Still waiting for something to turn me on... idk

The room is beige walls with dark furniture. We used to have a teal accent wall but when we had the whole house painted and told them to just match the original colors, they just totally skipped the huge accent wall. So we might repaint it teal at some point but for now we've just left it beige. The chairs, bookcases, and breakfront are black and/or very dark brown.

No offense but that Etsy kotel picture looks really cold to me. But anyway I'm not looking for kotel vibes.

I don't know if you could call me an artist but I enjoy trying to create things. I'd probably be using acrylic on canvas for this type of wall project. I haven't developed a specific personal style yet.

Would love to see more links of things people either have or think would look good in large in a dining room.

Do you like realistic or abstract?
Do you want ppl in the painting?
For abstract judaica art I’d try some inspiration from Boruch nachshon

I happen to like this seller. And if cost is an issue, she also sells fine art prints.

I painted the sefirot for our dining room. Happy to send a picture, if you provide an email. Colorful circles on a black background, with white lettering.

Maybe the old stone streets of Yerushalayim, with archways?

I know this is the kotel but it's colorful and vibrant. This artist also has some other judaica art in the same style
