How much does a principal make? Does it depend on the school category (preschool/elementary/high school)?
What about an assistant principal? Like not the head of school but the general studies principal etc?
What about the administrators?

It very much depends on the school, the location, the qualifications, etc. Many factors go into determining a principal's salary.

I'm a school admin in a small OOT day school. I don't know what the principal's salary is, but as an admin I get paid $50k+. This is considered pretty decent where I live, and honestly I would probably struggle to find an office/corporate job paying the same rate that also accounts for the extra vacation days I get from working in a school.

Sole principal (small school) , work 8-9 hour days- I make around $80K

That is a pathetic salary... WOW. What is the tuition? So some schools file non-profit taxes. I can't remember what it is called by the form is available online so I saw what the principal made at our smaller local day school and if I remember it was around 106k.

Work hours are 18 hours a day plus time on shabbos with people who are walking distance

The menahel of my boys yeshiva makes at least 250k but the school is massive and its a 6 day a week job. Rebbeim make 50 here.
