I'm really curious what the average wage is. I want to ask for a raise, but I would like to hear from more people what is acceptable nowadays.
Also if you can share what type of job you have. This poll is not for those that don't work under a boss

I make 59 an hour before taxes. I never calculated per an hour net pay. I work in a paramedical field in a kupat cholim. I also make another few hundred shekel above the hourly pay. I also feel like some months its more per hour because I need to work less hours that month and I get a monthly salary.

Work in hi tech. Never really did the hourly math as I get a salary but it's more than 60 for sure, closer to 85 per hour before BL and pension is taken out (I actually don't pay taxes based on my salary and nekudot, I guess it's not high enough for the amount of kids I have) . And I don't always put in full days but still get paid as my job is task oriented not hour oriented,so in a sense I get even more than that per hour.
But I think it depend what type of place you work for. If it's a place in the US that is hiring here because they're can get away with cheaper salaries, it might be harder to negotiate. But I hope you get that raise!

I work for an American company so it's not relevant, but I have a side job here in Israel that pays 65 shekel an hour before tax (office/admin/phones).

My husband works in customer service for a large well-known company and gets 38 shekel an hour. Thankfully, there are many overnight and weekend shifts to take that pay well. That and the perks make it worthwhile.

I work in a office in Jerusalem. I do most of the work at home and sometimes I have to come in to the office. It's very convenient for me and I love the job, but the pay is... Hypnotized

Y'all...I have an office position that pays 38 an hour. The only advantage is that I can work from home and in the evenings, so I'm present for my kids.

Anyone who's making 60+ : do you have any openings?

I'm on maternity leave, so I can gossip without guilt LOL

"Join hi tech" is easy to throw around, but I'm not sure it's that easy to get your first job in the field. Anyone want to weigh in, or should we start a spin off?
