Because I absolutely refuse to buy more tights in June!!!! Tongue Out
One dd has poked holes through the toes of every pair she wore last week. Another dd complains every day that her tights are stretched out and don't stay up.
So I say, time for school to be out for the summer! Tights season is finished Banging head LOL LOL

My daughter uniform just covers her knees, lets end school now so I don't have to buy a new uniform.

I also hate tights

Are they better? I find that all tights rip once a girl grows a bit bigger

Some people only buy tights because it's a school rule.

Oh, Got it.

If you but new tights now, they are not gonna use it next year?

In my dreams they will use it for next year, more likely the tights will be to small or ripped or disappeared ect..

And heavens... the price of tights!!! What is it,
like $10 a pair? I think I spend more $$$ at the socks and shell stores than in any other store in town Tongue Out I don't want to shell out that cash for tights that may or may not fit/ be the right size rib (don't start up with preteens) in September lol

Tights you buy now will be too small in just 3 months? Seems unlikely.

I pay 10-20nis a pair.
If they are a little big, they last a drop longer.

I just bought almost 40 pairs of tights between me and my DDs. Thankfully it was from Marks and Spencers so it only cost $150.

I used to get from Walmart but they discontinued the 3-packs I used to get.

That's what I tell my self, but it seems that tights shrink just by sitting in the drawer.

You’re shopping in the wrong store. Target and childrens place are much cheaper.

I recently bought my daughter new school shoes. Hopefully it will fit next year. At least I didn't pay $100 for it.

My girls are very long legged but slight. They get very bent out of shape about tights fitting properly. They can't be baggy, but if I get a smaller size the crotch is too low. They also want to fit in if girls are wearing narrow ribbed/ wide ribbed/ no rib... Every year we try a few different companies/ styles to find the ones they will put on without drama every morning.
But I don't think I tried children's place or target, I always shopped at my local hosiery store. That's a good idea, I can try and pray that they are good Tongue Out

Children's place and target tights are disposable one time use.
The only trick I have which isn't great is to buy one size up so that the crotch area doesn't get so worn from being pulled up.
But it's nuts. Tights don't last.

We've had no problem with them... My second daughter is wearing my oldests hand me down tights from those stores. I buy the thicker cotton ones though. bH my kids prefer the thick cotton to the thin nylon.
