stars is a floortime, language enriched program and a great choice for a child with a speech/laung challenge. it requires being approved by the Lakewood BOE- need an IEP.
brain builders is an aba program and requires an asd diagnosis- billed through insurance(out of network benefits only)
I dont know much about spark. I'm pretty sure it also requires an asd diagnosis- accepts many in network insurances.

I thought Spark was a regular CHS program.

Even though many preschools in Lakewood require an asd diagnosis doesn’t mean the kids really have asd yes they are all diagnosed with it so they can receive aba services because that is one of the only kinds of services you can receive in Lakewood. I work in brain builders and 95% of the kids there would not have been diagnosed with asd in Brooklyn because in Brooklyn they would be getting other services like p3 or seit.

That being said I think that brain builders is a great place. The staff really get down on the kids level and the teachers are amazing at what they do. Most of the kids are mainstreamed within 2-3 years

Actually heard nice things about brain builders
Problem is they’re mostly boys (older grp)
Mu daughter can be like tat for full yr.
She’s a social butterfly.b to girls only:/

All 3 very different profiles:
Stars
(I'm assuming you mean the BOE Stars and not Stars therapeutics which is something else)
Great preschool program, language and floortime based, higher functioning, no behavior issues , great for kids that need slight help in language.
Brainbuilders
Also great program. Very balanced in their Aba- they also have a lot of teachers and staff trained in floortime. Requires Asd diagnosis. Great for a child that is on the spectrum even slightly, even very high functioning. They also have beautiful OT gym and great OTs
Spark
Great program and will work with all kids however it's geared as a regular daycare.
