I'm looking for a dentist that accepts NJ Family Care/Medicaid to get a root canal taken care of. I live in Lakewood, but I’m willing to travel around the state for someone who is good. Someone who has immediate availability would be preferred.
Dr Melinda Blume in Freehold. There may be another doctor-Eisner in same office. Don’t know their wait time.
If it’s a “simple” root canal (this one only does more basic ones), you can try Howell Family Dental in GG plaza, Lakewood.
No matter where, Medicaid too often doesn’t approve; they need to see X-rays before a root canal and again before the crown. Hope you don’t run into being denied coverage for yours.
