Is the fact that it’s triple washed make it easier to check for bugs?

Maybe triple washed helps a little but organic makes it worse so...whi knows. But you still have to check it the regular way you check spinach.

Buy a thrip cloth and watch the videos on star k for how to use it.
We buy triple washed and check it, and there are definitely bugs in it

Is this the organic girl lettuce/ spinach you're referring to? I buy the one triple wasjed and on some it says must be checked and some don't have that label. So confusing

Has to be checked like any other spinach. The part that's easier is that you're less likely to find bugs or sand so process goes quicker

Same way you’d check unwashed. Thrip cloth and a light box.

Interesting. Never heard this apply to boxed lettuce.

Spinach is unique in that insects create TUNNELS in the leaves and live in those tunnels. It's basically impossible to clean. If you hold it up to the light you will see narrow tunnels.
As far as I know baby spinach doesn't have this issue but still needs to be cleaned and checked well.
