Easy to use Filter

What is the least restrictive and user friendly filter I can use ? We want to keep family safe from inappropriate content. But we’re ok with watching wholesome YouTube content like cooking shows, tutorials, frum music videos, etc. Also want to be able to google research topics of interest without coming up with bad content. If such a filter exists, I’d appreciate suggestions.

I like Circle for this.

It’s not perfect. Any blacklist filter (it blocks what you tell it to, by category or site or whatever) will inevitably leave some things unblocked. And any whitelist filter (that only unblocks certain things) will have stuff you want to access blocked.

Qustodio is another option but I was not happy with it, it didn't feel reliable.

[marq=up] For a computer Techloq is amazing. Usually instant unblocking and very customizable. Very helpful customer service.

I like kaspersky safe kids
You can do the free version, but we pay for premium (only 15$ a year) and it lets you view detailed reports of which device viewed what-websites, specific youtube videos etc.
I like thos specifically because we are more concerned about outright vulgarity and prn, but are ok with other secular stuff, and mainly because I like that my kids know we see every thing theyve clicked on

Eta- also very important to me, that we are not in the hands of someone else. We dont need to ask permission from someone else to unblock something- both my husband and I have the access to see whats requested, and grant permission or not

I second this.

We use techloq and it can instantly unblock appropriate youtube videos. When setting it up you also have control of how restrictive you'd like it to be.
