What spices would you put in tomato sauce when making pizza?

I put in garlic powder, onion powder and oregano. I'm sure you can find lots of more complicated recipes, but this is easy and tastes good.

Water down tomato paste, then add a little sugar, olive oil and sometimes a little vinegar as well. Spice with salt, garlic powder (real garlic is better if you have) and dried basil. I make it every week but Israeli tomato paste is not the same as American so you may not have to add salt/sugar/vinegar. Play around until it tastes good. It's important that it not be too thick on the crust, because that weighs the crust down and doesn't taste good.

I add sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, & pepper. I always taste it & adjust the spices if necessary. Delicious!!

Mixed tomato paste with water, add fresh chopped garlic, a few spoons olive oil, basil, oregano, crushed red pepper, sugar, salt, freshly ground pepper, onion powder. Pretty much the same as everyone else here...Play around with it, it will turn out fine. I like alot of sauce on my pizza, but I don't make it too thick.
