Edited: Dime is now offering 5.25% APY on balances over $25,000.

Capitalone is offering 4.3

Apple is offering 4%

Seems like only these 3 brick and mortar banks are offering over 4%.

Are there others?

Id consider a CD if its a "no penalty for early withdrawal CD" (like Citi offers).

Convenience of depositing and withdrawing cash, and "discomfort" with online banks with no branches.

Anyhow Dime's rate is the same as online rates.

Can someone more finance-savvy than I am, tell me the difference between

both of these offerings that are for new customers only:

Aspire Choice Savings thats offering 5.25% with min 25,000 deposit,

and

Aspire Savings Plus thats offering 4.30% with min 25,000 deposit.

The only difference I see, is the rate.

Update: Bank says "Aspire Savings Plus" (the lower rate) is an old offering thats online by mistake and has to be removed.
