I ate fleishig for lunch and 5 hours later wanted cauliflower that was cooked in a milchig betty crocker (used within 24 hours for cheese)
Was it really considered milchig? Or just milchig utensils?

As long as you didn't eat it with anything fleishigs you did nothing wrong.

We officially don't wait 6 hours. Dh grew up only waiting 5 hours. This is what his grandfather did too. Bonus if your nursing. This grandfather said any nursing mother should only wait 3 hours. My in laws lived near them. If for whatever reason he knew my mil is fleishig after 3 hours he came over with a cup of milk and he made her drink it before he left.

A milchig betty crocker renders it milchig but it's after 5 hours, I don't think you did anything wrong.

Nothing wrong- cauliflower is parve and not a sharp food. Only issue would be if you ate it directly with meat which you didn’t.

It sounds like you consider the cauliflower to be fully milchig, just like eating cheese. Most don’t hold this way.

I also have a question.
I used a pareve peeler but left it sitting on a dirty fleishig cutting board for a few minutes until I noticed. Does that change the status of the peeler?

If the Betty Crocker was clean and didn't have cheese residue all over, the cauliflower is pareve, and can be eaten right after fleishigs, just not together with it.

How many hours after eating meat was it?
Maybe ask a Rav and try to be more careful in the future. There's nothing you can do at the moment about it.

Oh sorry.
I think it would be considered dairy, but ask a sheila.

I think that would be actual dairy.
