Hi! I will be in Chicago next week and need to use the mikva on Motzei Shabbos. I found the mikva web site but am a little confused. There are no appointments? So what time am I supposed to show up? How long will I sit and wait for my turn? Is there a different mikva where I can make an appointment and be in and out faster? I would need to do my preparations there as well because I don't feel comfortable doing it at my host's home, it would be too obvious. Thanks!

There are two Mikvas one walk in and one is apt only.

Khal Chasidim is only appointments but it is smaller so they can fill up fast. Its a really nice experience there. To make an appointment use the link https://www.chicagomikvah.com/......html

The Touhy mikvah is walk in and much bigger. I am pretty sure that the Motzei shabbos time is 2 hrs after licht bentching for that specific week. I have never waited more then 5 minutes. If you just go when they open you should be fine.

I am almost certain they are doing construction and are using a temporary mikvah somewhere else.

I’ve used the skokie one when traveling to chicago. depending where you are it isn’t far. it’s only 20 min from where I was staying. however I don’t rem if it was walk in or appt only. I did use it at another time just for prepping for a friday night appt and made a special appt for that prep. had to pay an additional fee.
