A few weeks ago I vented about a relationship problem I was having with a family member and I’m pretty sure she read it on here and has now been acting so strange towards me. She hasn’t mentioned anything to me but keeps acting weird and won’t bring up the issue I was having and posted about here. Has this ever happened to you? How did you react?

Yes! I think it might have happened to me, and I asked them to remove the thread. Still not sure but it’s years later and no harm done 🤷‍♀️

Oh I’m sure she has read this but guess what since I posted the vent the issue went away. She has claimed to me numerous times she doesn’t go on this site but has mentioned things she read here; it’s strange she didn’t want to be associated with going in here.

I never understood when people vent and are worried the person the vent is against will read it and figure out the post is about them. That’s the best outcome . They know how you really feel without you having to confront them.
