And goes it matter if it's a Chasidish crowd or litvish? |
I’m pretty sure this is in the wrong section, this is surely not an issue of concern in society.
That being said, you see what the weather is before you shower, and dress accordingly. Then when you wake up in the morning, you see what the weather is and dress accordingly.

Its supposed to be in the 70s but the AC in shul is usually cranked up so probably a skirt and thin sweater. Something between summer and winter.

Considering that it will be above 90 degrees on Shabbat and Sunday I will definitely be wearing summer clothing and no tights. Anyone who would wear winter clothing without checking the weather is a little silly, in my opinion.
If the weather will be cool in your location, then dress appropriately.

Even if it’s hot? I would say it depends on the weather.

Summer clothes, but I'll take a light wrap to shul in case someone got over enthusiastic with the air conditioning.
My priority is comfortable shoes that allow me to stand for extended periods without my feet hurting.

I switch to black tights on Succos. (Unless the weather is in the 80s or 90s) Until then I usually am still in summer clothes or very light fall and nude stockings .

A few years ago The Kichels has a strip about this. Everyone in their fur accessories, tops, pompom hats over sheitels, and everybody was sweating. The point was that we are all a bunch of sheep who cant decide for ourselves what to wear based on the weather outside.
