My WhatsApp I guess just updated and now has channels…
Does anyone else have that? It’s terrible. I don’t want these ppl popping up as options on my Update page.
Is there a way to get rid of it?

I have this same thing suddenly! And I'm also not happy. I don't get it, I'm not interested in these random people. It looks like it's turning into another Instagram. Hate it, and I want rid of it. Any way to get rid of the channel suggestions without getting rid of WhatsApp?

Oh gosh why???? Whatsapp was working so well just the way it is. Thanks for the heads up. I will not be updating until they force me to (which they always do...).

As much as you want to avoid getting these unwanted features, there are security risks with not updating your apps to the latest version. You really should update, or get rid of the app if you don't like it's features.

I’m predicting the frum influencers will soon have their own whatsapp channels at this point. Then we’ll need an asifa to get rid of whatsapp.

So apparently channels isn't available for everyone yet. I have an android phone, got wait listed and they will notify me when it's available for me. Then I can join the hock.

How do you know you're waitlisted? Is there a way to never get on the waitlist? I'm really not interested in it ever.
