If you usually daven shacharis, do you say slichos?

BT moment here.

Since my kids are all big, I've been trying to go with DH to shacharis most mornings (it's a shul where they usually do slichos after maariv).

But I chose not to go in the wee hours of m"sh, and not this morning, in large part because I'm not ready to take on slichos this year (obviously, other than what's part of RH and YK davening itself).

I was wondering whether others who daven shacharis include slichos, especially on erev RH.

Slichos can technically be said at home but they’re not typically
If you do say them without a minyan, leave out the yud gimmel middos

I personally never said Selichos besides for the first night
