I’m so glad you asked. Ours was Bh very nice. The only things that bothered me was unfortunately hearing lots of Hatzolohs zooming by. My husbands friend is a volunteer and said that they were very busy over Yontiff. I’m hoping it doesn’t mean anything. Then I just read in Yeshiva works about not blowing Shofar bc it was Shobbos really got me more anxious. I think us ladies need to push our men folk and for the not married yet to push any men they know to go learn or do some type of Kabbalah. Even if it’s something small we can all do show HaShem that we want a better year. And iyh with this Zechus Moshiach should iyh come speedily this year

Bh easier than usual being that one day was Shabbos. No shul, no prepping food.
Weather was nicer than expected. There were talks of a rainy/hurricane on RH. It was not like that at all.
Of course it’s still exhausting. But I‘ve had years where I felt worse!

Bh was very nice, lots of tehillim reading. My baby has been sleeping through the night for months, yet for some reason the duration of rh he was so bothered and unhappy. Now he's sleeping regularly, hope it was just a 2 day kvetch!
My husband was the baal tokeah in shul, the kids shepped such nachas from him 😂

Without shul, yes.
With shul, no. It broke the day.

Without shul. Waiting for dh to come home. I was so antsy and restless. And so we're the kids.

Cinnamon. Come on. HaShem wants to spend time with us. He loves us so much and wants to be in our lives. Please. This is what Yiddishkeit is all about. Connecting with our creator. Not the other way around.

He spends time with us even when Yom tov is 2 days and Shabbos is not right after YT. He spends time with us midweek too.

Amen. But… isn't Rosh Hashanah one of those that will still be around when moshiach comes? And Shabbos too. So it’ll still be a three day yom tov

Presumably the second day of rosh hashana will be cancelled once we have a Sanhedrin, though. So it won't be 3 days.

Very nice! Except the kids kept waking up the baby. I didn’t daven in a machzor much but prayed a lot in my own words.

Rosh Hashanah is very difficult for me.
11 years ago I had a miscarriage at 19 weeks that started at 4:00 pm Erev Rosh Hashanah.
I never had another baby. The miscarriage "finished" on Shabbos Teshuvah in the middle of the night.
Every year, I just go through Rosh Hashanah sad and feel good when it's over. I make it through until Shabbos Teshuvah with a different wave of sadness, and then in an odd way actually enjoy Yom Kippur and the tefilllos.

It was two days in the Beit haMikdash, or one yoma arichta (long day), so it's not clear whether it will be one or two days in Bayit Shlishi. What is likely is that we will return to קידוש החודש על פי הראייה, so it won't be possible to say in advance which day of the week Rosh HaShana will fall out.

I cooked everything, packed out on Friday to a rental near our rebbe, set up shop. Had 4 seudos with a local guest. Attended shul both days with the guest who doesn't own a machzor, so I showed her all the davening from my machzor, with my finger. Said the entire sefer tehilim on both days, cleaned up the apartment and left by 10:30 pm. B"H my kids helped with the cleaning and organizing.
The davening on day 1 was very uninspiring. B"H day 2 was much, much better.
All in all, it was pretty good.
FYI I'm a normative person with regular kochos. My kids are no longer little so I am able to go to shul etc. I heard it's a big segula for kapara to say the entire tehillim twice on Rosh Hashana so I did it. I need alot of yeshuos.
