Airplanes are considered the safest vehicles in the world. The percentages of crashes relative to the number of flights is miniscule.
So what is going on??? Is there a secret weapon making things go haywire? Changing magnetic fields? Corrosion in the air? What is affecting airplanes so significantly? |
I thought there are a lot of helicopter crashes lately but I’m afraid it’s something that was always quite common. They seem less safe than cars. Maybe because a plane/copter crash is almost always fatal and a car accident can be minor.
Very scary. Hashem should protect us all.

I thought of this thread when I read this article.
Apparently, airplane GPS systems in Israel have been hamming up for the past few months, most likely due to an external country. Airplane flight routes have changed slightly as a work-around.
