We live in Israel but speak English at home. Our kids are bilingual from birth, but I grew up in America and have a strong American accent in Hebrew. Oldest dd for years mixed up the words accent and accident and called my 'American accent' my 'American accident' LOL

Whats the funniest mispronounced words your dc said?
Mine said something was overfloating instead of overflowing. It was so cute

Lol. My DD5 says it overfloated since shes 3.

These are others she says :

Sleep App Machine for the CPAP Machine

Brefkist for breakfast

The other day she told DH she doesn’t need to go to bed because “I’m a self offician adult” - self sufficient adult

Rugnoxious for obnoxious

The first week of school she was so excited that she learned to read . She had two sight words on the paper and the rest was stickers , one was an eye, the other a fish . It read “I see the fish” then there was a pink circle sticker at the end and she tells me “That’s a pyramid at the end . It means to stop”. She meant a period.

When Rubashkin was released from jail my daughter couldn’t understand why we were so excited. She told us her teacher already told her yesterday that “sramashkin” was let out of jail!

In our family DH CPAP machine is referred to as his shnorky (looks like a snorkeling mask?)

DS used to say things were very "importmant"

A different DS got "blinters" on his feet from his new shoes

DD asked if she could use the special Manchester vanilla. She also used to say that it was raining hardly when it was pouring (go explain the nuances of English). And she mixed a batter "thruffly" as per the recipe...

My says lecture bike for electric bike.

He then made an announcement that we are putting 'lecture in the car' when we needed a boost.

My siblings always said statue of livery (looks like that's a popular one).
