My parents are coming to us for yom tov and some of my siblings will come in to see them. They want to come either for kiddush or dessert as it doesn't work for them to come for a whole meal. I need to have some foods (and plenty of them) available. I have a lot of hungry nephews that may come.
Any suggestions of easy to make cakes, cookies or other ideas that I can easily make? My mind has gone blank.

You can do potatoe kugel, cholent, cookies, mini cakes, candies that are wrapped- since it gets very sticky, herring and kichel.
If you can make sure it’s nut free if you can bc it’s hard for people with allergies many times to join in. We’ve had to do that for allergy people in the family. Bh places have been accommodating when you say try to make the stuff nut free.

Buy a square cookie cutter and cut out little squares of cake that you make in 9x13 pans. Then set up pretty platters with an assortment.
Brownie bars (with confectioner’s sugar freshly dusted on top)
Marble cake
Cinnamon swirl cake
Lemon cake
Pound cake or with sprinkles
Blondies
You can make some into cupcakes if you have time pouring batter into individual muffin cups (the ones that have one batter and don't need to be swirled).
Buy bunches of grapes in different colors that you can easily wash and put out.
Cold drinks and ice.

Thanks for the ideas. I think a few variety of cakes will be good and easiest for me. How many cakes do you think I would need for 20-30 people?

I would do 4 or 5 different cakes, maybe some small jello cups, they look pretty and kids will like, a fruit platter and voila.
