Dh and I will be staying in my in laws' basement tenants' guestroom over the first days of sukkos (while they're away). What's a practical (and preferably affordable) gift we can leave as a thank you.
I was thinking something housewares related (can't be flowers as they would die before they got back) but has to be pretty neutral as I'm not sure of their personal tastes.

I just found some beautiful hand towels at Home Goods at 2 for $12.99. They also have nice hand towels at Target for decent prices. Take 2 and wrap them in a cello bag with a bow and that's a really nice gift. You could also bring a babka in a nice gift bag with a note thanking them for their hospitality.

I feel like nice handtowels are always appreciated. I received ones with our last name initial embroidered (I think Amazon has these) and they're so pretty to use for netilat yadayim on Shabbat and chagim.
