My newborn was doing fine until Yom Kippur morning. Suddenly she is not stopping to cry, not eating normally, and totally not acting regular. She's spitting up everywhere and did not have one normal feeding since.
What could have happened to change everything??

I have plenty of milk so it's not hunger.

I would think it's a coincidence. She may have a virus.

Please see your pediatrician, this may be a virus but it can also be an emergency like pyloric stenosis. Newborns are a very high risk group.

ETA if she's really crying inconsolably and/or not feeding since yesterday morning you should go to the emergency room now.

YK didn’t do anything. Get her seen by a doctor asap.

Please call your doctor. It's not Yom Kippur. Any concerns having to do with a newborn are an emergency, please even call if it's after hours.

Recently had this with my baby. The doctor sent us to the hospital, and we were even admitted. BH it was nothing dangerous. But nobody laughs at you when you come with a newborn. They take it very seriously.

And hugs. It's beyond stressful dealing with this when your postpartum and just want to rest.

Did she get more formula feeds (as opposed to BF) it may be heavier on her system...
