I have a #2,4, 6 and 10
can anyone suggest which one I can cook in a pot and then leave on plata until tom?
recipes or methods appreciated!

#2 is chuck. It works very well for slow cooking in liquid. I'd cook it in beer or coke to tenderize. Similar to brisket.

Definitely cook in liquid. You can transfer to the platta. It will probably cook more on the platta, so maybe don't cook it for more than an hour or so, before transferring. I don't have a specific recipe. Try googling "beer brisket" or "coke brisket" and choose one that uses ingredients you have on hand.
