I plan to leave my oven on beginning this afternoon, Erev Shabbos, so that I can use it on Yom Tov. Am I allowed to place food into it before Shabbos, and open it and remove the food after Kiddush in order to keep the food warm? I know I asked a Rav this question many years ago when I first got my new digital oven, but I've forgotten the answer.

It has a shabbos mode so no light will turn on?

We hold you can open once on Shabbos, take out everything, and close it.

I think that you can open the oven once over shabbos to take out food. You can't put back food in a warm oven on shabbos & you can't open the oven on shabbos more than once.
