Really desperate, dh and I are taking off work tomorrow but we still don't have plans.

Want to avoid crowds.

Looking for something we can do in a day that's realistic driving-wise from NYC area.

(Sukkah nearby would be a plus.)

Also have younger kids down to age 8 so it can't be physically crazy strenuous. But the teens are done with apple picking, the zoo or museums...

(Cheap or free is another plus.)
