ONce a friend gave me a very expensive hand bag, I felt so silly walking around with a $450 bag and not having more than loose change inside of it. (but I did get lots of compliments on it.  )

To some people I know it's a form of an investment. You either get it or you don't. Most practical people won't understand.

Its not just about knowing its expensive. An expensive bag will usually be very nice. A bag is an accessory that can dress up an outfit. Its like spending alot of money on a pair of shoes, a belt or jewelery for that matter!
Having said that, Id stull rather $500!
