Any ideas for hotels, restaurants (breakfast) or (somewhat empty) beaches we could go to, on our thursday night - friday afternoon vacation?

Well the beaches in deal are REALLY packed in the summers....The ocean place is nice with the pier next door but its hoping till really late and I dont think you can call it an empty beach! lol but it is definitely tons a fun there and stunning! another place is molly pitcher in its about fifteen minutes from deal....they are on a lake also really nice place...more quiet though...let me know if you have more questions...

I was just there.

Breakfast/Lunch:
Chocolate Soda - on Norwood Avenue
Crawfords, really a coffee shop with minimal sandwiches. Went there and walked out. was not in the mood of a wrap or salad.
Deal Cafe - looks like a run down place, but we liked the food, and returned there for next days breakfast - also on norwood.

Dinner:
Back to Nature - dairy.. very good food. (in Allenhurst)
Alberts - read good reviews, but I personally didnt like the food,
Dougies - not as good as in Brooklyn, but its still dougies...

these are the ones we tried... Theres is also a meat place in the Deal Casino - more upscale. Heard it was like Prime Grill. Here is a link to more..http://www.monmouthtorahlinks.org/kdining.htm

What is deal deli? where is it?? there is also a new cafe that opened up called ice cafe or something its off norwood my sister just went there for meet there is 656, kan zeman, dougies, chang mao,prime grill
dairy- pizza,hot bagel bakery- best bagels in the world Smile

, mazanobeh, chocolate soda-hang outy, and the one in allenhurst mentioned above....kan zman has really good lamb kibbeh!!!!
