This book always makes my kids that age laugh about a boy who makes a giant latke.

I would say more for the younger age of your range.

Sounds adorable!
Would get it for my kids! But I’m guessing its not necessarily about the chanukah story/miracle? I would love something that even if not outright the chanukah story- has something about it.

It mentions that he talked about it when he served the latke at the hospital but doesn't focus on it

Can you explain please?
Mentioned what? The chanukah story?
And what’s the hospital part?

Very sweet, beautiful classic-type book

They'll probably LOVE Miracle Lights!

it's a comic, funny, and very educational.

That book is an imaginative story about a boy who makes a giant latke. He has to have it mixed in a cement mixer, but then worries where to cook it! The driver brings him to the hospital, where they have a giant frying pan. Then they serve slices of the latke to all of the patients in the hospital. It mentions that he tells them about the miracles of Chanukah, but doesn't actually say what they are in the story.

Thanks everyone for suggestions!

I also found on amazon a book called if the chanukah candles could speak. Any feedback on that?

I don’t want to push the chanukah story in their face..
