I agree the prices are insane, but why is it different than Bloomingdale’s?

Huh? Why in the world is it a chillul Hashem?
Not in your budget so you have to put down the entire store and all the hardworking frum brands they carry?

Silly to call it a chillul Hashem. It’s normal nowadays for a sweater to cost that much. Not that I can afford it.

There are all different price ranges there. I bought the more affordable stuff. Less expensive than Monsey stores

It's a department store, right? Are all the departments that pricey?

How far is it from Monsey. I live in Lakewood. I don’t see myself going out there anytime soon.

Why would a price be a chilul Hashem? Scratching Head

I’ve seen shoes from non Jewish companies for over $2K.

I have bought lots of wonderfully priced dresses, skirts and sweaters. There are more expensive companies and less. There are beautiful dresses to be had for $60- $80

So many women on imamother don't know what definition of chilul hasham, and label anything they don't like as a chilul hashem.
That said, $120 is not that expensive for a sweater. Non jewish department stores have way more expensive sweaters.
And the Address has so many affordable brands as well. I shopped there so many well priced clothing.

I agree with you OP.
The address is a chillul Hashem.
Using a doona is a chillul Hashem.

We are such a disgrace.

I actually love The Address! Aside for the brilliancy of merging modest brands into one location thereby making it convenient for the “modest” shopper, I actually thought it’s a beautiful thing to see so many competing brands merge under one roof. I have a tremendous feeling of pride when shopping there and love that place!
