I have a blond sheitel that looks really blah on me and makes me look washed out. I have fair skin and light eyes and was thinking of going for more of a dark-ish red. But I really have no concept of what looks good on different skin types and eye color. Anyone good at that and could tell me what color would look good on me?
Also, is it a problem to dye a sheitel?

Why not dye your own hair first to make sure you like it before doing it to a sheitel. The tone of red dye is almost impossible to remove if you don't like it. If you are going to get it done, take it to a salon professional.

Are you a blond naturally? If you want to go darker because you look too washed out, I would stick to a darker color in the blond family. I think red is too extreme. Do you even know what you look like as a redhead?
Barbie blond shaitels make a lot of women looked washed out. What about a dirty blond or ash blond?
Yes, it is safe to dye a shaitel but I would only let someone who is experienced do it.

I am a dirty blonde very ASH almost grey tone, and one of my biggest regrets it that I bought a light brown somewhat reddish sheitel. It washes me out more than anything!
Also, before I was married I dyed my hair red once and it basically never came out, it just became this coppery orangish blonde color. Really disgusting.
