This was my reply on the thread about going from comfortable to poor.

I have four kids and we are making 140. I cry every single day. We are scratching our way to make more but it’s just not working out. I was never ever a jealous person but I’m so envious of those who are financially comfortable. My life is so much more stressful now although I’m trying so hard to work on my bitachon it’s not helping yet.
I wish I had appreciated it more when we were in that state. Never wealthy but able to cover expenses completely.

There were replies about emunah etc. being that this is where we are at in know right now I need to look away a little bit. The numbers don’t add up and I can’t cut costs. I know I need to trust Hashem will take care of us but I’m finding it so hard. Every time I go over the numbers and realize our income doesn’t cover everything we need I panic.

Me too. I just had my second baby and combined we made 72k last year. Most days I have to double think every purchase I buy. I currently have $100 in my bank account. I wish my mind didnt microcalculate everything (is that a word?) the first thing I think about is hmm ok it costs x amount, so that mean's I will have y left to buy food and diapers etc.
