I'm not a trendy person, don't know what's in in schools and such. What type of watch are 12 year old girls wearing? I want to spend in the $50 range. What type of band? Face? Etc...

Watches are about brands usually, so in this price range it’s probably only a swatch. Not sure if there’s much else

Where do you live? In Lakewood a lot of girls have the Michelle watch with the silicone band. It’s more like $200.

At that age swatch really works. One bit older (graduation/ 16) girls sometimes get the Michelle jelly - they are usually on Nordstrom rack for around 2/300$.

We love our MVMT watch - elegant yet still childish and best part is its waterproof!
You can shower and swim with it!
