Anyone have a yummy easy recipe for 2nd cut brisket that you can share details?
I've never made it before and want to make one for shavuos!
Is there a general rule of thumb for this cut?

Low and slow come out delicious
You want to have liquid in pan with it
It will get extremely soft and yummy
I check to make sure there is enough liquid
Gave you 2 recipes I often do
Brisket is very forgiving and most sauces work with it.


If you want savoury
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and a little oil.
Put layer of lots of chopped onion and fresh garlic
2 cups of red wine
Cover very tightly
Bake at 275 for hours( until fork tender)

Sweet
I rub brisket liberally with this rub
Add onions and a can of beer
Rub
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup coffe( not dissolved)
3 Tablespoon garlic powder
3 Tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Bake at 275 for hours
