Hi, does anyone know how long one has to be living out of Israel, in order to make Aliya with the benefits? (Asking on behalf of someone who was living in Israel on a student visa for a number of years).

I believe there are some benefits that go acc to how much time you spent in Israel in the last 7 years, and others that count the time in the past ten years. It's a bit of a confusing calculation. Something like not more than 2-3 years in the past 7. But visits of less than 4 months dont count toward the total.
