Successfully appealed to be reinstated? Looking for more information on the appeals process.
Thanks

Isn’t it clearcut based on your income whether you’re eligible or not?

I’d advise you to reach out to LRRC. They’re great at all things government program related.

What would be the basis of your appeal?

It is income based and so if your income is too high, you don't qualify.

Is there anything unusual about your family's health situation because there are some programs that cover disability differently.

Also CHIPS is higher income caps than Medicaid.

What is CHIPs? Our income changed and therefore I submitted the appeal. I have an appointment with LRRC for next week but wondering if anyone was in a similar situation and could help me out earlier.

Children’s Health Insurance run by the Federal Government with high income caps.

I have never had it but I know that people with income can get for children even if parents don’t qualify for Medicaid because their income is too high

If your income changed you may no longer qualify. An appeal won't help.

In NJ, chips is part of Family Care. I don't believe it's a separate program.
