B"H we'll soon be moving to a house that has some marble and parquet floors.

I've never dealt with either before so I'd like advice from those with experience of either surface.

I'm aware that both surfaces have their disadvantages but due to budget constraints we won't be able to change them for now, although they will all be rennovated/ resurfaced.
