Stain occurred when I wasn’t home. Does anyone have experience with this and can advise? Tried baking soda already.
It’s not water. Does not evaporate

I don't know about marble, but on quartz it fades over a few days. I've had stains convinced will stay there forever only to look for it a few days later and seeing it's gone.
