Do you have a big enough tool to pick it up with and put it into the plate?
It usually happens if your thing is not big enough.

You can get a special spatula for fish. It will help you get it on the plate without breaking.

Something like this https://www.amazon.com/OXO-113.....r=8-5

Bake on a large piece of parchment paper and use the paper to transfer it.

Thank you!
Do you think it's big enough to transfer a big piece of fish like bronzini or flounder or is it meant for salmon?

Great idea. Problem is when I bake bronzini or any fish with skin the skin tends to stick to the parchment and transferring can become messy

Right. That's what I'm looking for a tried and true tool.

So I figured this out by mistake. I use this tip with salmon. I figure it’s worth a shot with other fish. Hold it skin side up when you transfer, and it transfers beautifully.

This won’t work if the topping needs to be on top, obviously.
