We've stayed at the grand beach hotel over shabbos. Just ask front desk for a shabbos key. There is a manual door to the right of the entrance for the steps. It's walkable to 41st
Edited to add: ask them how to work it. U do not need to disable the electronic part. I don't remember exactly how to turn the key but they explained it to us then.
