We just got an Israeli bank acoxint. Is there a way to pay Israelis like the equivalent of zelle? But israel banks? Israel account to another israel account? Or to pay from an American account to an israel account?

If you have kids in Gan/school you will definitely need Paybox. Our shul also collects money through Paybox.
They're both free. No reason not to have both. Some people prefer Bit for some reason so I just use whatever the other person prefers.

Depending on how your bank account is set up you may be charged a few shekel per transaction, which includes any money going out or in (bank transfers, deposits, withdrawals, credit card payments, checks, etc). If you use bit or paybox it goes through your credit card and therefore fewer transactions in your account. (Paybox allows you to retain a balance within the app, so you can consolidate received payments before transferring to your bank. Bit transfers each incoming transfer immediately to your account)

Also, I don't know of any way to transfer from American account or credit card to an Israeli account. We have a PayPal account linked to our US account and have a US credit card that we use for certain purchases (mostly amazon). If someone in US wants to send us money, or vice versa, we just use PayPal and our US account. I assume zelle works the same way as PayPal.

you need to use your Israeli number
I don't think either app is in English
