My husband said no white shirt but I am sure others disagree.

I grew up not dressing up RC Av but I asked my Rav this year and he said we ain't wear bigdei shabbos but if it's not one you would wear on Shabbos, it's still appropriate to treat RC with more simcha and kavod than a regular day, we decrease simcha in general but don't get rid of it.
