Hi I am looking into making an awning and a roll down sukkah. I know there's Dean, tri-state and premium. Any others who do it. And does anyone have good ot bad experience to share about this?

We used tri-state for the sukkah, DH pulls it up and down. It takes a bit of effort, but he manages it on his own.

The salesman was accurate and it was installed well. I did not get the awning, just waiting for the extra cash šŸ˜

Is this the sukkah that's like $10k?

We used tristate. They did make some minor mistakes but came back to fix it. Itā€™s super easy to roll up and down and looks beautiful.

Curious how much cheaper they are. We only priced out tristate and premium which were almost the same.

We used Dean for a porch awning and they were great.
Shortly afterwards they came out with the roll down porch awnings. My neighbor has that. It looks so simple to ā€œbuildā€ the succah. Iā€™m a little jealous. I wonder if we would have gotten that had they been available when we (finally) did the awning. It really seems hassle free and a genius invention.
I recommend Dean to a few people and they were all very happy. Dean does great work.

I think it depends how long it is. I can't pull my walls up myself.

It depends on the size, but if a recall, the sukkah and Awning together was about 15k.

Each part is about half the total price

Just putting it out there

Dean isnā€™t a Jewish company while Tristate is.
Even if itā€™s a bit more pricey I personally like to support our own.
You can also ask tristate to try to bring the price down. They did that for me.

Was extremely happy with them.
