Are you paying for site hosting on your domain? Your webhost should have free email options (as part of the hosting package).

That's what I thought too
I'm using godaddy.
There are no free options 🤔

I think you have to also pay for workspace to get email.
I know the company I work for are paying Squarespace for domain and also a workspace (could be through the web company)
